Actually, my plan is to sit out at least the first couple of weeks of 2000. The truth is, we truely do not know the impact of Y2K either way (either problems or surge in buying) how much money was left off of the table, money supply effects, etc.

It seems to me, that with big profits in hand (as I have), the best thing is to simply sit it out. I am a short-term trader, so there is no issue with long-term capital gains or deferring profits to next year.

If I do a downside bet, it will be a small one, perhaps no more than symbolic. :)
