Good post. I agree with everything you said. I was a broker/trader in the 80's and also played takeover candidates often. One afternoon I placed an order for another broker's client to buy 300 calls(the position limit at the time) for 1/16. The next morning after the takeover was announced he sold for $30 when they opened. His $1875 investment turned into $900,000 overnight. When questioned by the U.S. Attorney prosecuting the insider trading case all I could say was that no one is that smart or that lucky.

The golf was great today and I come back to find out that my two shorts are down and my two longs are up so I guess "Life is Beautiful". May have to do this more often.
