CNBC pointed out that the market is currently 4 standard deviations above the 200 d moving average. They also showed a significant correlation of the graphs of the NASDAQ and the Japanese market building into 1989.

<< QCOM is going to be up another 70 on the open...simply crazy.... i'm awfully close to buying some puts on that puppy. >>

Greg, I have been watching QCOM puts for awhile now. You like volatility? You like high premiums? The option prices are as crazy as the stock.

Example: The April 440 puts, AAFPZ.

Range today: Hi: 27 3/8
Lo: 16 7/8 (obviously early when the stock
traded at 740 or so)

They usually trade with about a 3 or 4 point spread..<g>

Only 240 points or so out of the money and trading at 20!

Next week they will be the April 110's, with the stock (presumably) trading at 170 or so.

And I am seriously considering buying one!!

What the hell, I'm crazy enough to hold MRVC...<vbg>
