BIGDOG, WELCOME BACK TO THE FOLD....

Your lack of support in recent weeks has not gone unnoticed.

BigDog: "Call me crazy, but I think we will see a tighter rig demand in 2000 than most people are thinking. We could very easily revisit and surpass the 'good ole days' of 1996-97."
Comment: After a brief absenteeism (possibly induced or seduced by the MOUTH) Big is back and the WELCOME MAT is herewith displayed. Message 12408725

Big: "I like FGH in the longer run - hell, it could be a double in a few days." And, "They need to be 'world class' deal makers, not order takers."
Comment: According to FGH/IR the phone is ringing off the walls and Estimators ARE up to their armpits doing what they do best, securing new business for FGH. I kinda thought the China deal and the Oceaneering International contract was "World Class" deal making. FWIW >g<

O/T - Folks, I am trying, really trying to turn over a new leaf for 2000 !

SargeK - ie: "The Mouth" - mwah ? the mouth (VBG) ? and "what" shot at YOU ? SargeK where did I mention, or attack YOU in that post ? Why lie and try to rile up the natives ?

...please; wouldn't it be nice if this thread exercised some consistancy in running to the webmistress/person each time ANYONE "attacks" the messenger and not the message ?

Folks; on vacation - I posted a couple of messages on Yahoo, figured it was time to take a break here on SI - give myself one, give others one - given the distractions reaching a peak level earlier. I thought it was the right thing to do.

But ! - in my absence, there were often posts about "ME" ? and not the Oilpatch ? Folks, you know what will draw a response from me:

1. cheap shot - ankle biting & whiney sniveling about market manipulating & being part of some Trilateral Commision, Skull & Crossbone Society secretly targeting individual stocks and individual looney tune posters...

2. misrepresentations of what I said, or a trade I made etc

3.petty jealousy

*** I will try on Scouts Honor, to do my very best in year Y2K to keep on topic, on message - to shoot the message, not the messenger - unless ! They really, really deserve it (VBG).

SargeK; enough allready ! - I think you had a week, or so to post incesantly about FGH with no - "point/counter point" reparte~

Does ANYONE need, or want anymore FGH Spam-Sandwiches from SargeK here ? - and what is this thing about cross posting what you posted to yourself on Yahoo to SI and on SI to Yahoo ? hello ?!?!?

Is there anything we don't allready know about FGH, from either TheStreet.Com, the Canadian Government, the auditors, the shorts, the analysts, their IR dept, Big Dog, little dog, Crazy Sarge etc ?

I've said what I wish to say about "FGH" the company and I thought that I responded pretty reasonably to the message of Big Bull and had no qualms , or criticism of him personally in my response about "Deepwater" more than it being a response about FGH...

So, lets all realize what each others hot buttons are; lets give each of us a little leeway & space, lets focus our rebuttals on the message, not the messenger and lets make some money in 2000, okie dokie ?

SargeK, Rory, Cosmo, "Q" - I won't be "Baited" either (VBG)... realize you are dealing with a superior being - don't chew off more than you can swallow, don't issue a check with you mouth that your @$$ cant cash, don't tug on $upermans cape, don't spit into the wind & for sure - don't own FGH on margin since $18 like Sgt Spammo has -ROFLMAO !

Ciao~

Time to revisit technical analysis

Again, using a certain overused named Company as an example:
quotes.barchart.com

As indicated in message #57582 Message 12416612
Buy/Hold/Sell Signals generated by computer programs are based on history of stock price behavior. By examining CONSTRUCTION of these charts they may be used to PREDICT the signals BEFORE they reflect a change in trend (and presumably investor sentiment).

Coupled with improving fundamentals, the technical chart with mathematical certainty WILL further develop a positive bias.
(#57289 Message 12368584 a recap of future prospects posted on the day of the all time low of 6 5/16)

Just before Christmas the Chart reflected 100% Sell, Short, Intermediate and Long Term. At yesterday's close of 7 our example has already RECOVERED 11% since the Dec 23rd bottom of 6 5/16. When it hits 10 a 58.4% recovery will be realized and the computer generated signals will continue to reflect decreased sell signals, increased HOLD/BUY signals. Even if no price increases occur from yesterdays close, the chart by the very nature of its construction will continue change from Bearish to Bullish. As predicted, the shortest technical measure is now signaling BUY and as predicted, other sell signals have been replaced by Hold which will later (AS TIME ELAPSES) be replaced by BUY (if the fundamental status quo is maintained or improved).

With the bad news behind us and more positive news expected over the next few weeks both the fundamental and technical bias should continue in a positive direction.

I apologize to those offended by my constant use of this company as an example to illustrate and reinforce analytical comment. I just haven't figured out a better way of doing it.
