What NOK showed is that if a company can do one thing well it can afford them an opportunity to take the risks required to hit the next product. A well run company has the R&D, market analysis, product analysis and mgmt to handle shifting product areas. IMO IOM has the engineering end of things together. The rest is chaos. I think it has to do with weak mgmt and the inability to attract quality people to Roy Utah.

<<still long IOM, no position
in Nokia [unfortunately])>>

With a 3-5 year horizon, it's not too late (We've held IOM for that long, why not a quality company for a change?) With NOK, everything you've been accustomed to with IOM's managment, is the exact opposite. It's such a pleasure. Bought in '98 and have been averaging up.
