John, I respectfully disagree. This is a very solid company and you can't compare it to the performance of recent frothy stocks. Besides, being up 80+% this year, the performance isn't anything to be ashamed of. Its always tempting to chase whatever's moving, but in the longer run, this company will do just fine. Last quarter is usually TLAB's strongest, but of course you know that.

JDSU, in existence since July this year, market cap 25B; TLAB market cap appx 25B.
SFE....did your son buy after April 99? market cap 5B
EMC....market cap 112B
AOL.....market cap 171B
NTAP..market cap 12B, rocketed last 2 months.
CSCO...market cap 363B

I'm searching for a common thread here and can't find it; how do you compare the above stocks to each other, including TLAB in this group?
