I used to trade a lot of options, mostly OEX. But then they split it and I found it much more difficult. I suppose these days it's probably become easier again.

If you like options you may like a book called "Option Volatility and Pricing", by Natenberg. It's a little detailed, however. So if you do spring for it be prepared for some hoity-toity math.

With equities I was primarily a writer; both puts and calls. So in a sense I suppose my risk was far greater.

Speaking of which, last October (I believe) I received an e-mail from a CBOE MM that stated one of the largest MMs in QCOM options was down some phenomenal number year-to-date at that point in time. I mean the number was in the millions. I wonder how the firm is making out at this point in time. That's a tough year, I would think.

Well, Best Wishes for continued success; I have to go see how thin the SnP market is today. Most liquid market in the world and yesterday there were entire minutes that went by without a trade. Almost as if there are 4 people trading between each other in the pit and from time to time 3 of them went to the bathroom or to check the latest sports scores or whatever.
