Oh, I'm sorry!!! I have something, also. And it attacked my vocal cords. I am completely hoarse. I'm crushed-- the party tomorrow has rented a big karaoke thing. I was so excited. I was going to do my Bette Middler, Michelle Pfeiffer imitations. I said to Ammo- (well, really I croaked) I think God is punishing me for whining about not being asked to sing a solo at the Christmas Eve service. Ammo said, Mom, do you really think God cares if you sing karaoke or not? I said, He's humbling me. He said, jeez, are you sure this God is the one you want to believe in?
