I see that Henry and I have been typing at the same time <G>. Actually I agree with many of the points that Henry makes. I am beginning to disagree with his apparent conclusion that we should do nothing. There are many political aspects to this case that are beyond my understanding and I suspect beyond the understanding of the CCO insiders. Henry and I both conjecture that there should be a time when Jeb Bush could bite the bullet and settle this case and lay the blame at the feet of the previous Democratic Administration. Henry thinks that time has passed, but do you think that they want this case to be settled by the Courts around the time of Jeb's reelection campaign?

Henry, what I am proposing to do is to just suggest my proposed settlement to Jeb Bush directly for a delay in drilling that is paid for by the State in lieu of the usual lump sum settlement that a Court would impose in a condemnation case. I would like to know for certain that my proposal has been seen by all concerned. Is there any conceivable reason why I shouldn't communicate my ideas to Jeb Bush directly? Otherwise, I am not sure if you are just making some general comment about "not rocking the boat" as being good policy in a lifeboat in heavy seas <G>.
