If the New Year is anything like the present holiday, we are going to have a great year. Some of it was spooky: for example, we decided to go to Penn Station early, since I had unreserved tickets, and thus no specific train, and lo! the train boarded almost as soon as we got there. Also, my son caught a glimpse of Nick Turturro at the Stage Deli yesterday. We had seen him in the summer there, so it was strange to run into him again. There were numerous odd little things like that......
