My post was about cookie cleaning in Microsoft Internet Explorer. I remember from my Netscape days the cookies being in one file, a much neater arrangement for deleting, but a little harder to see with Explorer until you open the file.

I guess this is one area where different developers use different approaches.

Cheers, PW.

To all:

Following the path mark posted, when I get to the cookies file, I get the following message:

# This is a generated file! Do not edit.

Will I screw up if I delete something in this file anyway?

TIA,
Phil

mr mark, you said >simply click on the 'cookies' folder and choose 'delete'. it always regenerates itself.<

What am I missing? I delete and it comes back?
So what have I achieved?
