That is absolutely true- as the twig is bent. We have neighbors whose children swat their dolls when they are "bad". My children always breast fed all their dolls and stuffed animals- we had to tell them some people might not understand that kind of behavior. Which is sad- because what my children were doing was just modeling my nurturing behavior- and THAT would be considered weird in our society. But giving your doll a good spanking - THAT'S normal.
