Chuzz, hmmm, "devices = widgets or whatever" doesn't seem like you're too familiar with where the industry is headed...i find it a bit puzzling that you pull out the dcfa slide rule here and try to say what's what from such a perspective--analysis may be buff, but what about the inputs??...why don't you lay out the analysis based on an understanding of industry dynamics instead of just talking about a "framework"?...seems like you're just saying "dcfa accords this a lesser value than x", but since you don't even know what you're discounting (and hence your [heretofore unpresented] inputs are suspect), how can you really talk about x? 'member keanes--i'd rather be inexactly correct than exactly incorrect. don't let the slide rule keep you from seeing the forest where the money trees grow.
