TAPS, Do you have any idea when we who are entitled to the shares of TIPS that we bought at $.01 will finally recieve them. I get mine thru Fidelity and as yet they have not got them. Will this affect our ability to get the AAA shares at $.05? Best regards, Bob M.

T A P.......Is it possible for people to purchase TIPS tomorrow, December 31st, and be entitled to the Rights Offering of AAAMall shares at 0.05 on one-for-one basis? I know there is a question of three days required to settle a purchase or sale, but from a brokerage's and IRS's standpoint if someone purchases a security on the last day of December that person is considered to "own" the security for tax purposes or any other consideration. After all, one can buy tomorrow and sell before the end of the day. Pretty hard to do unless one "owns" the security. TIA, Charles
