X, well, it's been a very long and powerful bull market, to the extent that people don't really believe in bear markets anymore. history suggests however that very extended bull market ultimately lead to severe bear markets. i think the Dow/S&P haven't closed below a prior year's low point for a very long time now...actually since '82. that's quite a long stretch, but it isn't over until it's over. the cycle work i follow points to a continuation of the bull well into next year, with a little hiccup in January. we'll see.
