Watching the Y2K parade

Sitting here sipping coffee and watching the rollover on CNN ... Looks OK so far in New Zealand and Australia ... Nice fireworks in Sydney!!! < vbg >

I don't think the absence of problems means too much ... So much is shut down, either for the holidays, or by design ... We will have a better idea by the middle or end of next week.

I cannot help remembering the Euro introduction and how we didn't hear for 2 months that the European banks had lost control of their currency transactions and couldn't even reconstruct them, so they had to just agree on a fair amount that each bank would owe as a settlement.

Anyhow, everyone have a very Happy and prosperous New Year.

:-))

John

PS: It's -5F here in rural Ontario this AM. We heat partially with electricity, so I am cheering for the power to stay on.
