Problems with Schwab quotes: As a matter of fact I called and spoke with a manager at Schwab's global investing desk today - Alex Hayward - about the problem. My account shows a share price of $880 for closing on 12/29/99. It closed at 97,800Y on the 29th - which equates to around $956. He told me the same message you got, they are too busy to update share prices. We get all the big moves and there isn't that moment of glory looking at your account balance. What has consistently annoyed me about this - I don't know what the bid/ask is here - and at times have wondered if we were down in Frankfurt and therefore down here. Guess we could send 'em an email and complain. I'd like to get this corrected.
