Yes Dude,

One hell of a post. After reading, thought maybe Jim Willie had loaned the writer one word, get my drift. Boy, to be in the canyon tonight.

thanks guys, referring to "intellectual flexibility" ... right?

how quickly the landscape can change
we must at all times be willing to be flexible
after Tuesday, friends fretted
one good friend sold out options at 580
I couldnt convince him that everything changed on Wednesday
it sure did in the tiny recesses of my mind

valuation paradigms have changed
solid growth of topline/bottomline growth is valued
if growth works in face of competition with no barriers to entry, then valuation gains can be fleeting

steady promise of hypergrowth is highly valued
a near lock on platform ownership, coupled with strong growth soon to become hypergrowth is greatly greatly valued
when probability is widely accepted to be converging toward certainty, as PWebber believes, then valuation can get stratospheric

the new decade brings with it some true blue sky
the new domains are wireless, fiberoptic, semiconductors
Gilder has done a great job in identifying them for me
I am not that bright a guy
my skills include adding numbers, connecting dots, subtracting 3/8, and my favorite (drawing lines, esp tilted ones)

I subscribe to the new paradigm
it does NOT however apply to all stocks
it applies to a handful
the mistakes to be made are to apply the new rules too widely
those who do will suffer airpockets and whacks

bring on the split and the new millenium
