I also like the consolidation
the more activity at or above 640, the better
we needs mucho shares traded above this level
today we got it in spades

I know too many people anxious to buy after the split
tomorrow might be lackluster, real holiday spirits
next week is legitimate market activity

I think QCOM executives truly handled this timing well

Finally, CNBC gives qcom the respect it deserves. Did you see the 6:45 story on the Q? They said lots of good things including having another anylyst say " yes, $1,000 is certainly doable with all the potential q has... blah blah or something like that. Nice to see them do a good story about the Q. They also mentioned other things besides just cell phones for the Q technology. They mentioned china as well. Overall great story with no negatives at all.

Rick,

I have had this discussion before with others. The 28-30 gap in the GSTRF chart is not a true gap, meaning there has been trading prior to that date in the 28-30 price range.

We are referring to a true breakaway gap where there has been NO trades executed within the recent Q gap of 528.5 and 560 EVER. This gap could easily be filled, a 22% move down from todays close....

I know, all gaps are not filled, they usually are though. Also, commonly held TA is that the 528.5 (in this instance) is very strong support and should be bought...

Regards,

MileHigh
