Yes but the Software to manage those bits of information will be highly profitable.

Don't know if anybody else has posted this info, but the numbers on part of the storage situation are available in this month's InfoStor. For external RAID vendors, EMC is at about $4B or twice the amount each of the next three vendors shipped (Compaq, IBM, and Sun). George D.
