whoever wrote this article is an idiot and knows nothing about computing industry and it's trends. in Fact UNIX still runs the most mission critical apps in any industry. It is NT which is used in small networks and is mostly used for file and print serving. There are many studies out there from Giga, Meta, IDC, DH Brown and Gartner about this subject
