ELCO was bery, bery good to me

covered today at 28 from 47,42,41
looks like i'll have to pay the taxman
in april although there were moments this
year where the $3K loss limit seemed woefully
inadequate

Techie: I am quite comfortable with shorting .... but, one bad short in the midst of a hysteria rally, and you can permanently damage your account and your ability to continue trading ..... especially if you avg. up. I don't consider trading gambling like many do, and to me, that kind of play is a pure gamble ...... whether the price is justified or not.

I could easily have made 3x-5x what I did this year by taking more risks but I have my daily goal and feel that I can consistently hit that goal on most days. It allows me to keep my trading habits fun, prosperous, and consistent. Shorting has its place ..... but we must all stay true to what works for each of us as individuals.

I wish you continued luck, but could never recommend the tactics you use. But again, it works for you very well it seems.
