I've been watching 1480 and now 1460 spoos. There is a gap open on the 23rd that probably looks appealing to the floor traders. Will they sell the news on Jan 3, 2000?

Right now GZ it's a 50/50 for the 3rd. I got trapped at 1469 a major block of shorts, but would have liked to have been long. I have a Fib target of 1515 for the cash, before any major correction....today it got to 1475.

Personally, I like it long until around the 15th

BTW, 4:50 AM est tomorrow is the first TV show for the millennium sunrise in the Pacific. Jennings will be up!

My Best for the New Year...!

Chip

GZ,

I am getting some bearish signals on the markets myself.

- My Nasdaq neural net system goes short tomorrow.
- Bearish Candle stick pattern on Nasdaq and lots of stocks
- Indices look to be at resistance/upper fork - usually a good place to sell!?

However - perhaps it is all a last minute Y2K issue - people don't want to hold stocks over Y2K.. Right now it looks bearish to me though.

How about Bonds? I am feeling bullish on them myself. Your thoughts?
