Something has really been bothering me lately. Last quarter at this time we were eagerly anticipating the close of the quarter and trying to determine what Q! had earned in the final fiscal quarter of 1999. Here we are at the end of the fiscal first quarter and not one, NOT ONE, post has even mentioned the earnings picture for the first quarter. All I have been reading about is 3/8 retracements, gaps, and $1000 price targets based on IMO some pretty pie in the sky valuation models. Now, I believe in the value of TA, and JWCB has been pretty damn good and I love the Q! It has changed my life, but I sold all my non-taxable Q! on the open this morning. It was like selling a child. I PM'd Voltaire about my concerns. 200 point up days, c'mon. I've only been in Q! since April. I'm not one of the long suffering players that has owned Q! during the holy wars and has since been vindicated. Our thread has lost sight of the importance of DD IMO. The Q! has a wonderful future ahead but this is insanity! Uncle, I'd be very curious as to what your friend the psychologist thinks about the group-think phenomenon for us at this point. There is no need to flame, but we need to take a breath.

Respectfully,
kirby

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU. I don't post very often but I am here everyday. I really benefit from your posts, I bought both the G&K book and tapes. I have a very important news for all QCOM share holders. I just got email from my overseas relatives, they informed me that it was on the news and talk about QCOM's join venture with a China partner, one of the most important partner is President Jiang's son, after I heard the news all I can tell you now is buy on the dip. QCOM will be all over China. The son of President Jiang just graduated from a well-known university in the United States and now he is back to China to mainly develop the business like the internet, telecommunication, etc....

Thank you Uncle Frank, JW, Voltair, Ruffian, Gregory, LindyBill, engineer, Gregg Power?
HAPPY NEW YEAR!! I AM SURE WE WILL HAVE SOME VERY EXCITING YEARS TO COME.
