Latest news on the Gaugie watch; from MJ through Gus -

Am heading to hospital again. Friday seemed to be a much better day for
Paul. He was lucid at least some of the time, walked 60 feet, and got out
of chair and into bed almost on his own.

He said he 'ate a big apple and a banana.' He turned twice with help and
didn't want the drug that knocks him out. Then around eight he turned
again. The nurse turned his leg before his hip and it was not right. He
was in so much pain she immediately brought him his pain meds - 15 minutes
early - and gave him the stuff in his iv that makes him sleep the deep
sleep. When I left to come home around nine thirty he told me he 'couldn't
figure out how to fix something. He had looked in the operating room and
all the trash cans and finally found a nut.' Go figure. Strong drugs.
