Marc, I understand the logic in your comment that "SLB should drop several points after spinning off Sedco Forex" but I guess I am not convinced that will happen. Wouldn't you expect massive, institutional-driven options activity if that were the case? E.g., Jan 60 puts would seem to a great way to play such a move yet only 200 contracts traded today, and the open interest on the call side exceeds the open interest in puts according to CBOE stats. I may be way off but I have a hunch the adjustment is already reflected in the share price. fwiw
