You might check out globalstar (GSFTR)as a good play on wireless communication. I think the stock is just beginning it's run. G* has finished placing their last satelites (of 44) and are turning on global coverage and signing up subscribers now. I proposed on the G&K thread that they are a gorilla. However, after further understanding of the various difinition, I see them as a king or prince. Check it out, I think it might be something. I missed all of the wireless action. I was surprised and lucky to spot G* and get in at 20 1/8 a few weeks ago.

That's a trick question, right <g>?

I'm biased towards gmst, Stephen, as you might expect from a reader of the Gem thread. It has some pongoid traits, and if ipg adoption reaches Tornado levels, it may be our newest Gorilla. In that case, it might put on a show like Qualcomm. Good seats are inexpensive at the moment.

Check out Infowave on the TSE. Should be on Nasdaq in 2000.
Recent deal with Bell Atlantic popped the stock to 17 dollars Canadian and have recently pulled back to $13. Pretty cheap wireless company. Check out the thread. Symbol is IW on the TSE.
