Del, Del, Del,

For the longest time I have quietly sat at my computer reading comments posted by the most outspoken of those who think there is essentially no third rung on the ladder of humanity - body, mind, and spirit.

I have watched the same ploy being used time and time again with the oddest effectiveness: Christians (as an example) must prove their beliefs to the unbelieving.

I have not wanted to enter the flip side of the coin for fear of making an effective argument. What fear might you ask? That of blood on my hands by way of convincing comments. Nor have I wanted to do so because of a time when Christine was pretty much the "odd man out" for crimes I doubt were ever crimes at all. When those who actually deserve her as a friend stuck by her in that darkest of times. You were one of those people Del, and I remember it quite well.

But as for those bone-headed Kansas flat-landers, I take exception. Had the separation of Church and State not been at the core of the issue, I suspect Darwinism might still be in their curriculum. But because the religious side of the theory get tossed, I figure those who decide the curriculum issues for Kansas schools think it was about time to just pitch the coin since only one side of it was to be allowed lest the "unbelievers" bitch, moan, and complain.
