"...how many out there are just waiting for next week to sell some SFE or ICGE and get the taxes in '00."

Not me. I have done some selling (mostly covered calls of some other tech performers) and may sell some others in January but, no SFE. If you all sell, I may even buy some more. It is very rare to find a company that is as well positioned in any sector and yet has a value argument. With 25 companies in the pipeline - all of them in excellent niches and a large discount to the value of its public portfolio, I'll hold or buy more of this one.

That said, it is certainly true that it is hard to find something wrong with the idea of selling stocks at a profit.

Mike. You are right. I plan to sell 10% of my SFE holdings, in March or so. I think the January sell-off will be short lived, especially with the traditional MMs being forced, by their customers, to get better returns. add to that the BW recommendation and I think we will see offsetting camps. Us early I-net investors will bank some profits into more traditional areas, while the traditional investors will use any dip as a chance to show how "hip" they are too. JMHO

Have a great one.

PS: No Y2K disasters, what am I going to do with all the champagne I hoarded in case the liquor stores couldn't open. <g>

Re: money flow index negative divergence

Look at this indicator in August. Peaked with SFE in the high 60s. By the end of September, glaring negative divergence, SFE in the low 70s and money flow 50% lower then it's August peak. Result: last great buying opportunity in SFE before parabolic rise.
