Hello Eliz and thread.

Yes indeed, it was a fantastic year. I am sure a little support from all of us kept us in the market. Of course not everyone did as well as Frank, Sonki and Brian. gg. But who is complaining?

Well, the dawn of a new millennium has come and gone in some countries and everything is still ticking there. New Zealand was first to notice that the lights were still working. gg. And in other countries it is now past midnight and everything is AOK there also. So hopefully we can look forward to the same.

A cpl of things have changed though. The hostages of that Indian plane were released. Russia has a new temporary President Putin. The old is going out, the new is coming in. I guess Yeltsin wanted to celebrate the new millennium and decided to call it quits before the clock struck midnite. gg. The change has been a yawn and the Russian funds are up.

Things are looking alright in parts of Asia and hopefully everything in the rest of the region will go like clock work.

I read an article about a new born baby where it was said that this baby will not see the next millennium unless there will be a major breakthrough in medicine. Well, one never knows. gg. What's a thousand years give or take a little? But I have to admit: At this time I will be just as happy to make it til 100 and then go from there.

I have to get ready for a small big party. Maybe I should call it medium.

Happy, Happy, Happy MILLENNIUM to all and their families. May we stay healthy, lovable and prosperous. I will end with the last big <G> of this millennium.

Sonny
