Interesting discussion on PE. My former broker told my wife that people only want the stocks that are going up. He never understood that when he was my broker.

I agree, they used to use that PE term back in the dark ages during the 20th century <ggg>.

If you didn't get to read it, try to read Friday/Sat WSJ.
On the front page, article about Bill Miller at the LM Value Trust. In the Sat part the articles on So Long, Supply and Demand by Tom Petzinger, an essay by George Gilder and one by Professor Coase among others are exceptional. There is a new/co-existant paradigm in effect, the Santa Fe Institute is on the right track and some see the light sooner than others.
