As you and I predicted, Y2K a non-event, at so far per CNBC. ATMs, lights, etc., still working fine in Australia. Only thing that is NOT WORKING is the postal service, as I have not yet received my invitation to the multi-gazillion $$$ Compaq New Year's Eve Party at the Grand Ballroom Opera House, or what/whereever, in Sydney tonite, or was it last nite(if it was last nite, maybe we'll get some buying today if Capellas was touting the stock as he made the rounds shaking hands passing out cigars). I just don't see how they coulda forgotten me, so it must be the result of a glitch in the mail delivery. Also don't see how they could raise the dividend, throw a VERY EXPENSIVE party like this and then miss the Q4 consensus number. Would that be embarrassing or WHAT?!?!?! Of course, based on CPQ's actions over the last 2 years, we know that they know NO SHAME! El
