DownSouth,

<< my opinion ... JDSU is "a King", in Gorilla Gaming terms >>

Did you catch this comment ascribed to Geoffrey Moore:

"Moore suggests that Qualcomm (QCOM), with its CDMA cell-phone technology, and fiber-optic components company JDS Uniphase (JDSU) are possible young gorillas in the making, joining such established gorillas as Microsoft (MSFT), Intel (INTC), Cisco Systems (CSCO), Oracle (ORCL) and SAP (SAP)."

He remains a bit conservative as to conferring Gorillahood on "Q" but the JDSU comment is interesting. With more than its fair share of IPR and as a result of its ongoing acquisitions, this King could, IMO, transition to Gorilla. I'm not ready to build a case for this yet, but for this reason and like "Bulldozer" I'm a bit more interested in discussion here that relates to the business or industry that JDSU is in, then discussions of the stock movement, trading options, or even the beloved "Q".

Happy New Year.
