GV, In the case of the British credit card system, it's definitely a Y2K issue. Certain things are programmed as 'sale date + 4'
and the things shut down initially on the 28th, when 'sale date + 4' should be recording 1 Jan 00.


Of course, you're right. Have to be able to bridge into 2000 correctly from now.

GV, thread, Charles Schwab customer center is having problems today. Intermittently get Server Error error message when either updating RTQ's, or something else, or trying to log in. Some Yahoo posters have said the same thing. Wonder what their problem is? They used to have mainframes, maybe still do. I wonder.
