Mr Stein,Olympus was hopping that their own country would not award the patent 5,647368 for the Life GI and Life Lung to Xillix but it was file and completed on December 20 1999.Olympus knew if that patent was Xillix ownership that would surely open the doors for further damages offered to Xillix. For Olympus to have any hope of appealing the verdict it had to prove that the technology was open domain shared by both parties, this was not proven by Olympus. In my opinion Olympus only choice is to settle out of court quickly before Xillix widens their claims even further. The price increase we have seen only indicates investors agree, and by the large blocks being push thru it looks like fund managers are taking notice.Momentum is building for this stock and if things go well in the next few quarters you will get all your investment back plus more.
