If a y2k disaster did happen gold for a short period of time would be have either zero value or infinite value.

The gigantic wealth created by the 'nets will be spent, paradoxically the insignificant proportion of commodities in products will make their consumption unaffected by large commodity price increases.

Gold will participate.

However, the October gold short covering rally should have ignited a gold bull-it didn't.

For whatever reason, it ain't happening yet.

It will, someday.
