>>a foreseen event has no significant effect on markets.<<

You mean, like a $1000 price target?

Sam: <a foreseen event has no significant effect on markets> Well put. On the other hand, the unforeseen is out there. Believing that the foreseen is meaningless and the unforeseen will not happen leads to 'irrational exuberance' -- wow, 'irrational exuberance', look how quickly hyperbole pales in comparison with 'reality'.

Blodget on CNBC

Sam Sara,

Blodget was interviewed on CNBC a while ago.......Yikes!...Ouch!

Net longs need to grab their fanny......this will get ugly in January. I don't know if the exits are big enough to handle those wanting out.

I think you will see E-Bay under $100 and AMZN under $50 within the next 10 trading sessions. Reverse momentum.

bg

ps. No Y2K problems means rapid increase in interest rates......look for talk of 50 basis points in early February. Watch the long bond react very poorly to lack of Y2K problems.
