Hi Tom,

I am convinced that everyone has them but people fight them. THE KEY IS TO RELAX AND IT ALL COMES TO YOU AND THEY DEMAND FAITH, ABSOLUTE FAITH!

So true. I can vouch for that.

Happy New Year!

Can you reintroduce me to your friends Voltaire? I'm afraid I drove my angels crazy and they have me on ignore. <ggg> I used to be a real daredevil and I would say I don't have to worry because the angels are protecting me. I guess they wanted to teach me a lesson.

Lola:)

Thank you for that post...
Wish I had Angels like that,
because if I had them, they would have told me
"boy are you STUPID Annette for still having AOL in your portfolio!"
Oh well, live and learn, that's the way of life....

Tom, I can vouch for your Angels. Every time they visit me, my life changes for the better.

I'll be leaving for the Y2K party at Pebble Beach soon, so let me wish you the happiest of
New Years. I'll toast you and your Angels with Dom tonight.

Been thinking about your angels a lot Tom. The relaxed faith--along with the wonderful occasional rants--that you exhibit showed up on the thread all this time. You knew what you knew, and that helped so many of us hold steady course.

Here are some nice thots to ponder for the New Year:

Everybody wants to change the world, but nobody wants to change his mind. [I was thinking that a state of faith is a change of mind]

Chance is perhaps the pseudonym of God when he does not wish to sign. (Anatole France)

All fear is a sign of want of faith. (Mohandas Ghandi)

Voltaire <<My feeling is we have at least a five year hold here.>> Tom, I am looking forward to your leadership for the next five years with QCOM. It has been an unreal experience for me. This is a great project you have going for you with such great friends. You have developed a following that others are certainly envious, however the most important thing is the trust that people have in you.

Merry Millennium and Happy New Year from Ottawa, Canada

David

Happy New Year Voltaire,
And thanks for the education on the backrooms of Wall Street. There were many times this year when a new investor like me would've gotten shaken out and bought GE. I did'nt. I remember a couple of times this year when the Squat Box crowd was screaming RUN FOR COVER! PE too HIGH! INFLATION! LONG BOND! (translation: Churn those accounts!)
Because of the gains I've had this year alone my wife and I no longer need to worry about where the money to pay for my 2 little girls education will come from, we can afford the best. Words cannot describe how good we feel about that.
Thank You and all who frequent this and the other threads. Each of you has played a role.

Blessed beyond words.

<<My feeling is we have at least a five year hold here.>> That is such a reassuring thought. I wish to thank you for all that your post have done for me. I have followed you from DELL to AOL and RNWK to QCOM. I have had great results, which could have been much better if I would have just acted sooner. I would read and watch what you did and then wait a little before joining in. Also, I could never get myself to use options (which I still have never done), but I do go on margin. I just want to THANK YOU and all the others on the Q thread especially Greg M. Well, when I start thinking about it, actually every one on the thread. Ruffian, Jim Willie, Limtex, Mile High....EVERYONE, including engineer and Clark on the other Q thread. It's really like a family. The moment I walk in my home I go on to SI. Voltaire, you have made me look at the market so differently. At one time I thought the markets were actually a live, real time, orderly auction with stock prices being determined constantly by the number of buyers versus the number of sellers. Thankyou for the education, you are an astute professor of market manipulation and psychology.

Voltaire, as a chiropractor it was also terrific to hear your thoughts on health and chiropractic. And Greg, you need a chiropractor, a chair may help, but all healing occurs from the inside out -- Remember, Healing is an inside job.

PS: Voltaire are you currently in any other stocks? With everyone telling their top picks for 2000 I was wondering what yours were. I wanted to know your thoughts on some of the other stocks some of the people on the Q thread seem to own such as JDSU and GSTRF. And the other one I am almost afraid to write since it almost seems like a dirty word on the Q thread, especially after seeing how some people have been treated after mentioning it. And that one is IDC. could you please give me your thoughts. Again THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU. And may you be blessed with abundance this coming year.

Rhino Ray
With the Q I wake up feeling like a rhino charging toward it's goal.

Voltaire,

You have been blessed because you heeded your angels. We, in turn, have also been blessed.

I think I am heeding my angels better now too. I know I have struggled with & fought them for years. Your sharing such a deeply personal belief will help me find & keep that faith. I think my angels brought me here today for a reason because I can't tell you how deeply this just touched me.

Voltaire,

Thank You For Your Response. Yes I was and am very sincere about my question. I believe in what you say because their are forces in this world that you cannot explain. Their were times in my life that the angels were trying to get my attention, but I would resist them. Have a Happy New Year
