I read somewhere in the last couple of weeks that the terminal for the Caspian pipeline from BAKU will be a Mediterranean seaport NE of Cyprus. Sorry don't have the link but the pipeline deal has already been signed between Azerbaijan, Georgia and Turkey.

Russians are, I believe, planning their own pipeline which explains to some extent why they wish to clamp down on any areas which may form bases for future attacks on its route, as well as sending signals to others that there is a new game in town regarding the FSU and its not monopoly.

I thought the attack on Yugoslavia was insisted on by Hillary to get the spotlight moved. <g> JMVHO
