Whoopee. Happy New Year, CB. All seems to be going without a hitch so far. Now if we can get through the night here without any goofy people trying to disrupt the party. This new year could turn out to make the top-ten of non-events. I have 3 boxes of mac&cheese just in case, though. Any word from the Gaugs?

I have to send instructions to some one on how to send a floppy disk as an email attachment. And I can't understand the instructions in the Help menu. And we're going to the city tonight, which I do not want to do and thought I wouldn't have to. That, of course, was when I was under the brief misimpression that I had free will. But knowing that the hordes aren't ravening elsewhere makes it better, I guess. Edit: I think I just figured out how to send an attachment.

Dan got called in this morning because some printers went down- I carried on about TEOTWAWKI but he swore it was NOT related. I have ten cans of tuna. And a new box of wine. ANd a couple of big gift baskets full of weird things. I'm ready. The stores were packed last night. It was a strange mix of NY PArty stuff and survival supplies. Wine and water. Batteries and Brie. I am off to begin cooking and becoming beautiful. A Happy New Year's Eve Day to all of you! I'll report in later!
