Mike see post #2603
Julius has solved the backup problem.
Its strange, but it only works with a removeable media
drive. (3 1/2, zip, superdisc etc).
If your backup file is bigger than 1.4 meg and you've only got a 3 1/2 floppy, you've still got a problem.
If you are going to do a total reinstall, save the
directory C:\Program Files\TC2000\USER\NOTES. You can copy it back into TC2000 afterwards.
To clear the regisrty, go the C:\Program Files\TC2000.
There is a file there called TC2000Reginfo.
Double click it.

Click Advanced options and the click Clear registry.
If the backup issue is your only problem, I would try Julius's suggestion first.

Mike, I just tried Julius's workaround and it worked.
It took almost 5 minutes and the backup file was
188K which is about the same as it was before the last
"upgrade". I would still save a copy on the NOTES folder
somewhere on your hard drive once in a while.
