Thanks for the update, CB. I hope they have him good and doped up. Fireworks are wonderful, but I don't think I'd care for that much of a crowd. Maybe once. To say I did it. I'll stay in. I'll miss the bottle-rocket battle around the bonfire in the holler. With all the kids grown-up and moving into their own places, I don't know if it would be going on anyway. And life goes on.

Not much action yesterday. But they made up for it last night! Paul LOVED

MJ Pulled the plug! Too many phone calls...

You'ld think! But she wasn't home, 'cuz she was at Emamuel!

That would have been when I was there. The nurse came in and asked, "...is
your phone working..." MJ replied that it got unplugged due to over activity.

Not true! Hip still in place. But YES! PAIN!! He is also running a fever,
as he is entering into the "Rejection" phase. This should last a week or
less. He has requested that folks "hold off" on calling until he gives the
"all clear." I will probably be visiting next week sometime, probably
Tuesday as my kid returns then from NM. I will keep Rambi and CharlieMike
apprised of the situation.

However, he is indeed in good spirits, yelling at the staff to increase his
doses. He'll survive though. I did ask him when he was planning on doing
the OTHER hip, and he just scowlled...

Indeed! See the latest addition to the G-Re-Coop page...

...which he KNOWS about! Some phone caller "spilled the beans." So much for
THAT surprise! And he grilled me about it. My ass feels like my dog's
chew-toy. Oh well! It was worth it! (Actually, I kinda think he's flattered
at all the attention he is receiving). BTW, I gave him a 16 page printout
of the DAR thread from his last post on Tuesday morn to yesterday...
