Some states (since physicians are licensed by states not the feds) have stepped in, when made aware that this is occurring in their jurisdiction, and halted the physician(s) that was involved from continuing the practice.

Wow, I'm amazed that Pfizer would stoop that low. I've heard of numerous Viagra rip offs that are being hawked on the net. That's why I figured it had to be a scam. I even searched the Pfizer web site to see if there was any mention of an e-mail sales campaign but could find no mention of it. I hope the Fed's stop that nonsense in it's tracks.
