George, a very happy and healthy New Year salute to you, my friend! I do appreciate your care for my feelings, but I do think that the exchange that followed the posting to which you refer was meant to clarify Coby's intent. If we can all try to follow her proposal, it may be that we can return to heated discussions that do not leave personal wounds. Meanwhile, a warm holiday smooch to you!

Hi George, Happy New Year! My point was that I think what's going on with the thread is stuff like you telling me that I am snide, and BP wishing Happy New Year to the people who aren't awful, and Michael M. calling Delbert a flaming odorous orifice, and Nihil calling Cummings a racist pig, and so on and so on. I've said before I am tired of posts that attack people, and not ideas. And I willingly concede that I have been guilty of the same offense. But of course it's your right to do whatever you wish.
