And in the Rman tradition:

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL LOVERS with VD (the fund that is)

What a great time to be alive. And while we all look forward to a year in which the companies in which we invest develop and bring wonderful products to market, and in which the market realizes the value of those companies, we should remember that it is not all about money. Take time to appreciate those around you - your family and friends - tonight and this weekend; let them know that even though you're parked in front of a computer screen 362 days a year, they are MORE important.

And then we'll see you back here on Monday to rip the guts out of some shorts <g>.

I'm off to my Y2K bunker...

V1, biowa, cyto, Rick, MZ, PS, BJ, DAK, et.al.

Quite a year in biotech land and for the VD and other SI bio portfolios!

Not much one can add to what V1 and biowa just wrote. I would urge that we share our good fortune with those not so blessed. Today, I moved a good number of my $17 MLNM shares to charity. Human needs will benefit there far more than my own. (Certainly it is nice that our tax system offers an incentive to do this for them.) My hope is that many of you did the same this year and, if not, will in 2000.

HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!!!

Walter
