Oops! Y2K problem? Don't know if it's Fidelity, Microsoft Money Central, or the quote source for MoneyCentral but the Fidelity Contrafund (FCNTX) is quoted at $6,002.00 per share, up from $59.64 yesterday.

Dear Mr. Boileau:

Thanks for your explanation; seems reasonable enough except your comment that:

"It also prevents stock from getting out of hand in case FUNDS want to buy stock and don't want to pay $ 160 now"

and your previous post that:

"I guess market makers are holding it down as a favor to FUNDS"

reveals that you think these MARKET MAKERS and the FUNDS are accomplices in controlling "market" prices. Is this true? Do you believe this is possible?
