I don't know about these "STratfor" people. If I
recall correctly, George Stephanopolis stated in
his book "All Too Human" that the Clinton Whitehouse
had no idea about the impending coup in Moscow and
actually spend a good part of the morning cursing
the CIA for failing to warn them of the situation
in Russia. The Stratfor statement that Yeltsin was
warned by Western intelligence agencies could only
be the work of fiction since they failed to notify
the Clinton Whitehouse.

I checked out the Stratfor web pages. It looks to
me like the work of Poly Sci Graduate Students who
are trying to make a living by predicting the un-
predicable.
