I'm not mindless or greedy enough. It will happen to these Gold Stocks too someday . When you ask? When I'm old, senile and can't enjoy the profits? We are in uncharted territory here in regard to all the indices, especially the Nasdaq. It is ludicrous and insane. I have been part of the Insanity. I'm not proud of it. I can act as mindless as my neighbor next door. I'm stupid but richer for it. I think the end of this speculation based purely on Momentum is not far off. Maybe another 100-125 points on the S@P and a 1,000 points on the DOW. I don't really know how far or how much longer this can go on. No one can tell. But I think we are going to reach " the top " sometime during the year 2000. Gold will never die; it has eternal value in a changing mad world. Change is not always change for the better. New ERA is a bunch of BS. What comes around goes around. "The way up and the way down are one and the same way." I don't think it's hopeless for Gold. It is just extremely out of favor and understandably so, at this point. The shiny yellow metal can withstand the scorn of the World. The way most people hate it is testimony to its great underlying value. I'm still amazed it's almost at $290. I hate to say this given my background and values but I thoroughly expect Gold to rise from the Dead.
