Direwolf on the Yahoo thread is a great source of Gem* number crunching. Here is his last post of the Millenium:

"Cowen had a pre-split estimate for GMST for FY01 ending March 01 of $1.00 per share. On 120 million pre split shares that is $120 million in net income. Figuring capital spending matches depreciation and amortization (which is probably conservative for GMST) then FCF for GMST is $120 million.

Add that to the $177 milion in free cash flow (FCF) I calculated for TVGIA in the other note and total FCF next year proforma for the merger is almost $300 million.

Even better, according to Cowen GMST had $260 million in cash at the end of its most recent quarter. They forecast that to rise to $320 million by the end of the fiscal year in March.

So for newco, we have $600 million in debt, $300 million in FCF and $420 million in cash in the bank.

Debt is gone after the first six months.

Sorry this took so many messages. I had to go to different sources that I didn't have handy.

Hey LT, help me out on this one.

Happy New Year to all.

Direwolf"
