OT: RE: Long's Peak

Hey, do any of you guys ever take the (relatively wimpy) Keyhole route? I was going to try to work in a trip on it last August or September if work and time had allowed.

I know that Long's is dangerous whichever route you take, and weather on it is a big bugaboo. I've been told to start early (3-4 AM) to get down from the summit before the PM T-storms arrive.

Happy New Year all,
